Services — Sig /// 003

Four ways to work with us.

Most of what we do falls into one of these four shapes. Engagements are limited and selective; we'd rather do five projects beautifully than fifty adequately.

/ 01 Studio Build

End-to-end product engineering.

You have an idea or an early product and want a small, embedded team to take it from sketch to shipped. We design, engineer, and ship — front to back — and stay long enough to hand a working hive to your in-house team.

Best for founders building V1, or operators rebuilding a critical internal product without growing headcount.

  • Product strategy
  • UX / UI design
  • Web & mobile build
  • Backend & data
  • Hand-off & training
/ 02 Signal Audit

A diagnostic pass on your system.

You have a product, an org, or an architecture that's running — and something feels off-frequency. We come in for a defined window, listen carefully, and return with a written diagnosis: what's signal, what's noise, what to amplify, what to mute.

Best for teams who already have a competent in-house engineering function and want a calibrated outside ear.

  • Architecture review
  • Product diagnostics
  • Tech-debt mapping
  • Prioritisation framework
  • Written report + walkthrough
/ 03 Residency

Embed with us, for a season.

A short, intense residency for a founder, researcher, or small team. You move at our pace, in our rhythm, on a problem we both believe in. We share method, infrastructure, and weekly critique — you leave with a sharper product and a different way of working.

Best for technical founders pre-fundraise, or research-led teams crossing into product for the first time.

  • 4–12 week residencies
  • Weekly critique cadence
  • Shared infrastructure
  • Co-build sessions
  • Public artefacts welcome
/ 04 Tuning Session

A focused day with the hive.

A single working day — virtual or in person — on one specific question that has been keeping you up. You bring the question, we bring the room, the framing, and a written summary you can act on the next morning. Lightweight, low commitment, often the right first step.

Best for senior operators who want a high-bandwidth conversation without scoping a whole engagement.

  • One question, one day
  • Async prep
  • Live working session
  • Written summary
  • Two-week follow-up
How an engagement begins

Three steps, no surprises.

We'll often suggest the lighter shape first. The right answer is rarely the biggest engagement.
